MUSICAL EXPERIENCE: Classically trained and over 2,500 gigs to date, including Miss World 1994! I'm an ex-Korg keyboard specialist and I've assisted Chris Martin from Coldplay, Phil Collins and I even have a credit on a Keith Emerson album for showing him how to use his gear in a piano lock-up near Euston!

FAVOURITE MUSICAL MOMENT: Probably the biggest personal highlight was playing at the Superbowl (the venue, not the sporting event) at Sun City for the first time in 1990 when I was only 19. That's the same stage that Elton John and Queen played on when they came to South Africa.

MUSICAL HERO: A keyboard player called Johan Laas was my biggest inspiration when I was a working musician in South Africa. He taught me the most important lesson in my playing career. "There are no rules now you're out of music school! If it sounds good, play it!" One day I'll apply that advice............
