Pete (Woody) Wood

Pete first picked up the guitar at around 12 years old after hearing a neighbour playing tunes on an old acoustic. Soon becoming totally addicted, he locked himself away for hours listening to a cocktail of Dire straits, Santana, and Toto tunes. He emerged a few years' later, bleary eyed, bloody fingered and desperate to start gigging.


Pete soon established himself on the local music scene, playing and 'depping' with a variety of great bands alongside some wonderful players. The last 25 years have seen him play thousands of gigs, teach and record professionally and play everything from Sinatra to Coverdale. He's still as obsessed as the day he started and forever 'The Student'........

A self-confessed gear junkie, he now spends his time playing for 5Catfish, recording speaker and amp demos, or salivating over the latest piece of guitar technology to arrive on the scene.
