We realise that the music, although often an element of a function that is overlooked or booked at the last minute, can make or break events. We also know, from the years of playing at various functions that the last thing the host wants to worry about is whether the band are going to be there on time, or not play just the right music.........

With '5 Consultants And Their Fish', we take that worry and guesswork out of the equation. The whole experience begins with a face-to-face meeting with a member of the band to go through the exact requirements of the event - from the organiser's point-of-view. Shortly after this initial meeting, a confirmation will be written to ensure we understand the brief. Once that is all confirmed, the next thing you have to worry about is whether the typing pool temp is going to embarrass herself just like last year, because the only reason you'll have to talk to the band is to book us for your next event!

5 Consultants - The Story

One day, the two Andy's from the band were talking over their laptops and discovered that they both had a passion for playing live music. One thing led to another and before long they were soon talking about the possibility of putting a band together not with any really serious intent though. Eventually, Andy L called Andy D's bluff and got things rolling, made a few phone calls and, before they knew it, the first rehearsal was booked! (Andy D would of course have it the other way round............,)

Well, the time had come to find a name for this 'thing' that was rapidly becoming a band.

Unfortunately, although talented musicians, they found coming up with a name for the band far more difficult than the musical side of things. So, deciding to make technology work for them, they turned to the Internet for inspiration and found the name '5 Consultants And Their Fish' on a website that allowed band names to be randomly generated...............seriously!!!
